*The Baltimore Ravens joined the NFL in 1996 as an expansion team. Owner Art Modell moved the Browns from Cleveland Ohio to Baltimore Maryland. Modell was forced to drop the Browns name, uniform, and histroy due to legal action by the city of Cleveland.
